We are quickly approaching the Pastors’ Conference in Indy. I’m looking forward to what God is going to do, aren’t you? Just imagine with me….
- Pastors and wives renewing their commitment to one another while viewing the screening of Fireproof on Sunday afternoon.
- Men of God making a renewed commitment to building a praying church. What would happen if thousands of pastors left Sunday night with a commitment to have prayer meetings that are more than praying for the sick, but meetings where people long for God to move in their midst? The key to the church in Acts was prayer. That is not often the case in the 21st century church.
- The hand of the potter remaking lives on Monday morning as we hear from men of God about brokenness. I have thought long and hard about these sessions. We are not having breakout sessions this year because I believe pastors and their wives need to hear these men speak out of their personal brokenness. Only when God breaks us can He remake us into His image.
- The wind of God blowing through our midst on Monday afternoon as we focus on the necessity of revival. Let’s not confuse revival and evangelism. Revival must happen in the church before we get a burden for the lost. Carnal people don’t care about lost people. Only a church touched by heaven will reach outside to those who need Christ.
- A fresh commitment to evangelism after Monday night. We must change what we are doing if we are going to reach the children and students of our country. We are losing this generation because we’ve forgotten they are our future. We must put our hands to the plow and ask God for a new “Jesus movement” among students.
You’ll walk away from the conference with renewed passion for your ministry, your church and your community. Plus, we’re giving you resources after each session to help you put feet to what you’ve heard when you get back home.
Don’t miss it. Pray with me that God will move and speak in our midst. We don’t need another conference. We desperately need a fresh encounter with the Father.
