Jimmy Scroggins is the Lead Pastor of Family Church in South Florida, where he has served since 2008. Family Church is a network of neighborhood churches and schools across three counties in three languages. He is the author of several books, including The Very Good News Storybook Bible, The Education Reformation, and Full Circle Parenting, and previously hosted the Church for the Rest of Us podcast. Jimmy also serves on the Board of Trustees for Palm Beach Atlantic University and Liberty University and is a visiting professor at Southern and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminaries. He and his wife, Kristin, have eight children and a growing number of grandchildren.

H.B. Charles is the Pastor and Teacher at Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church, serving the Jacksonville and Orange Park, Florida area since 2008. He focuses on preaching and teaching, casting vision, and developing leaders within the church. Beyond his local ministry, he regularly speaks at churches, conferences, and conventions across the country. He has also contributed to various books and journals. He is the author of It Happens After Prayer, On Preaching, On Praying, On Worship, The Difference Jesus Makes, Getting Right With God, and Reaching God’s Goals for Your Life. He and his wife, Crystal, have three children: H.B. III, Natalie, and Hailey.

Dean Inserra is the founding and Lead Pastor of City Church in Tallahassee, Florida, where he leads the vision and preaching. Called to plant a church in his hometown at a young age, he is passionate about reaching his city with the gospel and seeing a lasting impact for Christ. Dean is a graduate of Liberty University and has pursued theological training at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Krissie, have four children.

Cliff Lea is the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Leesburg, where he has served since 2007. He is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and has authored several books, including A Selfless Marriage and Trusting God No Matter What. He and his wife, Suzy, have five sons, four daughters-in-law, and nine grandchildren. He is passionate about God’s Word, spending time with his family, international missions, and—on a lighter note—the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Mavericks, and barbecue.

Willy Rice has served as Senior Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater, Florida, since 2004. Calvary is committed to gospel multiplication through church planting, raising up next-generation leaders, and serving vulnerable children through foster care and adoption ministries. The church includes multiple campuses across Pinellas County and is home to Calvary Christian High School. Willy is a graduate of Samford University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and has served in various leadership roles within the Southern Baptist Convention. He and his wife, Cheryl, have three children and seven grandchildren.

Heath Lambert is the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Florida, where he has served since 2017. He is a recognized leader in biblical counseling and the author of several books, including Finally Free, A Theology of Biblical Counseling, and The Great Love of God. Heath is committed to helping people experience lasting change through the truth of Scripture. He and his wife, Lauren, have three children, a son-in-law, and a granddaughter.

Edgar Aponte serves as Senior Pastor of Idlewild Baptist Church and is passionate about advancing God’s glory through the local church, disciple-making, and global missions. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President of Mobilization for the International Mission Board and held leadership and teaching roles at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Earlier in his career, he worked as a diplomat representing the Dominican Republic. Edgar holds multiple degrees, including an MBA, M.Div., and Ph.D. He and his wife, Sara, have three children.

Stephen Rummage serves as Executive Director-Treasurer of the Florida Baptist Convention. He has pastored churches in Florida, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Louisiana, and has also served on the faculties of Southeastern, New Orleans, and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminaries. He holds a Ph.D. in preaching from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and an M.Div. with a specialization in biblical languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to his pastoral and academic ministry, he is an author and the founder of a nationwide daily broadcast ministry that aired from 2010 to 2024. He and his wife, Michele, have a son, a daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter.

Herb Reavis has served as Senior Pastor of North Jacksonville Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, since 1991, faithfully leading the congregation with a strong commitment to evangelism and biblical preaching. Originally from the Texas panhandle, he is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Milligan College, and the Southern Baptist School for Biblical Studies. His ministry has been marked by a passion for reaching people with the gospel and equipping the church to do the same. In addition to his pastoral leadership, he shares biblical teaching through his broadcast ministry, Reach Out, which airs on radio and television, including The Sky Angel Network and Faith TV. Herb and his wife, Lisa, have three married sons and grandchildren.

Worship

Shane & Shane is the combination of solo artists Shane Barnard and Shane Everett. After meeting in college, Shane & Shane began writing songs and traveling the country leading worship. Over 20 years later, they're writing more music than ever, with no intention of slowing down. Their desire has always been to glorify the Lord by writing biblically based, lyrically rich, and sonically engaging music.

Over the past few years, Shane & Shane have dedicated their lives to encouraging and equipping worship leaders and their teams through the work of The Worship Initiative.

The Worship Initiative exists to empower and inspire worshipers by providing resources that help them treasure God’s Word and lead others in authentic worship. With a mission to equip the Church to exalt Jesus and serve with passion and purpose, The Worship Initiative offers a transformative platform for worship leaders and teams.

Lakes Church Worship is the worship ministry of Lakes Church in Lakeland, Florida, dedicated to leading Christ-centered worship each week. The team seeks to help people know Jesus and respond to Him through song, faithfully serving the local church and proclaiming the Gospel. This year, Lakes Church Worship has the privilege of leading at the Southern Baptist Convention Pastors’ Conference.
