After pastoring churches in Kentucky, Alabama, and Texas, Dr. Adam Dooley moved to Jackson, TN in 2019 to serve Englewood Baptist Church. With a deep love for expository preaching, a unique passion for personal discipleship, and a heart to reach the lost, Pastor Adam guides those he leads toward a renewed commitment in the basic disciplines of the Christian faith. In addition to his pastoral duties, he is a weekly contributor to The Jackson Post, as well as various other periodicals. His books include Passion in the Pulpit, Hope When Life Unravels, and the forthcoming Exalting Jesus in 1 and 2 Chronicles.

As a native Kentuckian, Dr. Dooley received his Bachelor of Arts from Clear Creak Bible College in 1999, as well as his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in 2002 and 2006 from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2003, he married the former Heather Renee Oney. They have three sons and two daughters.
